I don’t know the last time somebody dropped 50 in a game, but I am fairly sure it has been at least a couple of seasons. This doesn’t look like the most efficient performance, but considering his teammates went a combined 8 for 33 from the field, Rush really did have to be the working man for Grambling.

Alex from CrossCyed pointed out to me that Josh Hinz of D3 Beloit also had a nice night against that crazy Grinnell team, contributing 50 points and 36 boards. The other oddity of this game was that Beloit didn’t attempt a single three.
